Found in Caprivi strip of north-eastern Namibia bordering four countries – Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Origin: 
Cattle in this category are believed to have originated from Angola, following loss of the original cattle holdings through raids by the Khoikhoi. The term Caprivi Sanga has been used to refer to a third type of Sanga cattle in Namibia, and it is found in the Caprivi strip, the long strip in north-east Namibia bordering Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. These cattle may have been influenced by cattle types from all four adjoining countries (Rege and Tawah, 1999).
