Special Characteristics: 
The Haraki breed is a medium sized, meat-type with coarse wool. The medium sized head, the neck, the legs and the flat-drooping ears are reddish-brown. Males and feamles are polled and have large fat tails. The coat is white, although brown and black variations can be found.
Main Location: 
The breed is distributed in the western and southwestern areas of Azerbaijan province, neighboring the Makui sheep area in the north and the east, and Ghezel sheep area in the southwestern area of Azerbaijan province.
Origin: 
The Harki breed is most likely related to the Herrick sheep, kept by the kurdish Haraki tribe in mosul region of Iraq.
Species:
