Special Characteristics:
Coat colour is mainly white with spots of red or black; the coat hair is usually short and smooth, but it can sometimes be long and coarse; ears are large (16 cm) and pendent with turned-up tips; horns are robust and point back in parallel; head is massive, short and with straight profile; long legs; skin is thick; better milkers than goats from northern Somalia (Mason and Maule, 1960).
