Special Characteristics: 
These are typically small brown animals averaging about 45 kg in weight; they are sometimes black or pied. The ram has small curved horns while ewes are usually polled. The tail is triangular and hangs below the hocks, the tapering point often reaching the ground. It has a relatively good twinning rate and can lamd twice a year (Mason, 1967).
Main Location: 
This breed population inhabits the Nile Delta outside the territories of Rahmani and Ossimi sheep breeds, particularly in the northern parts of the Sharkiya and Garbiya provinces.
